Toby’s family background is from the Czech Republic and we often make trips to Czech to visit his grandparents. Each time we visit, his grandmother would always make us beautiful traditional Czech dishes that Toby grew up with and the face Toby makes each time he has it is pure bliss. He’s tried multiple times in the past to write down her recipes, but true to the OG style of cooking, she never measures anything so recreating a dish based on “guess-timating” the ingredient amounts has been difficult. This humble collection of Czech recipes is a mix of babička’s OG recipes that we’ve attempted to recreate and some I’ve recreated from Czech restaurants. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we do – they’ve all been tested, tried, and approved by Toby!
